As a part of Timothy Oulton’s expansion into hospitality and the acquisition of Barnsley House Hotel in 2021, TO Studio has worked closely with the hospitality team to reimagine all aspects of the pub’s interiors, experience and branding, as a first stage in the overall refurbishment of the entire property.
The Ray, a recently completed private retreat designed by local firm, Architecture Brio, perches on a green hillside with spectacular views to an arc of sandy beaches and blue sea. Timothy Oulton Studio were engaged to design and supply the interior furnishings of the house, with the support of our local partners, Tarun Vadehra.
In 2020 Tim bought a working gulet, My Lover as she’s known, is a 30m long, 2 mast, all timber Ketch with 5 guest berths. Timothy Oulton Studio were engaged to refurbish her from the water up, with a brief to distill the most authentic experience of its location and history with, as Tim called it, ‘humble luxury’.
